Transportation:

Please note that the following information was written for normal operations and is always subject to change. The hotel is not responsible for any rate changes, transportation changes, road closures, time differences etc. Always double-check yourself ahead of time to be better informed.

From John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK):

By Subway - $7.25 per person ~1-1.5 hours travel time: From the terminal exit, follow the appropriate signage and make your way to the nearby AirTrain. Take the AirTrain to Howard Beach ($5) and transfer to a Manhattan Bound A train ($2.25). You will board the Manhattan Bound A train for 11 stops and exit the train when you reach Jay Street/Borough Hall. After exiting the train, head directly across the same platform and board a Manhattan/Uptown F train for 2 stops until you reach the East Broadway Station. The hotel will be west of the exit on East Broadway at 91 East Broadway.

By Taxi - $45 flat rate per car ~30 minutes – 1 hour travel time: The easiest and fastest method. As you exit the terminal after baggage claim, disregard all individuals at the exit who will be asking if you require a taxi. These individuals are known as “gypsy cabs” and have been known to regularly charge inflated prices as well as deceit guests. Proceed directly to the yellow taxi line by following signage. There will be an individual that will hail a taxi for you as well as provide you with a receipt with the taxi’s medallion number. The normal rate is $45 from John F. Kennedy to anywhere in Manhattan. Usually informing the driver “91 East Broadway in Chinatown/Lower East Side in between Allen Street and Forsyth Street” will suffice.

By Express Bus - $15-18 per person + transportation from bus station ~ 1-1.5 hour travel time: Express Bus stops should be signed as you make your way to the terminal exit. You will be able to locate individuals who are selling Express Bus tickets into Manhattan to either Penn Station or Port Authority with Penn Station being the closer of the two. However, since you would still be requiring transportation from the station to the hotel, this method is usually not recommended.

From La Guardia Airport (LGA):

Taxi - $35 per taxi approximately ~ 30 minutes – 1 hour travel time: As you exit the terminal after baggage claim, disregard all individuals at the exit who will be asking if you require a taxi. Usually informing the driver “91 East Broadway in Chinatown/Lower East Side in between Allen Street and Forsyth Street” will suffice.

Public Transportation - $2.25 per person ~ 1-1.5 hours travel time: From the airport, follow the directions to board the local Q33 bus ($2.25) to Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave. Free Transfer via Metrocard to the Downtown F train for 14 stops until you reach the East Broadway Station. The hotel will be west of the exit on East Broadway at 91 East Broadway.

From Newark Airport (EWR):

Air Train: The Air Train offers connecting service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains which will bring you into Manhattan. Surprisingly, this can actually be much quicker than taking a cab or bus, and it is much more affordable. $11.55 one way will bring you from Newark Airport to Penn Station. From Penn Station either take a taxi or subway. AirTrain connects the NJ Transit "Newark Airport Station" to the airport terminals. Consult the schedule to determine the schedule of connecting trains. Service is available from 5 a.m. until 2 a.m.

Taxi: Metered fare (plus tolls) to any Manhattan location, approximately $50-75. Taxis are available outside of every terminal and there is typically a taxi stand where you will be directed to a taxi. There is an additional charge for luggage over 24 inches if the driver handles the bags, and rates are based per car, not per passenger (up to four passengers).

Transportation to the Airports:

The hotel provides transportation to all airports via private car service. Current prices are available upon arrival.

Parking:

Parking is available and provided by a nearby underground public parking garage located at the intersection of Market Street and Division Street at 2 Division Street (approximately a block and a half / ~2 minute walk) which is North West of the hotel. The cost is approximately $32 per 24-hour period.

Street Parking is also available, but most require the movement of your vehicle by a certain hour in the early morning. Always remember to double check signage to insure that your vehicle is not in violation.

Rental Cars: We discourage visitors to New York City from renting cars, unless they're planning extensive travel outside of the major metropolitan area. Parking is both expensive and difficult to find, and you will find your money better spent on mass transit and taxis.
